2009 Dodge Caliber
The 2009 Dodge Caliber is a fun, well-rounded package, combining the versatility of a sport utility vehicle with the value and fuel-efficiency of a compact car.
The Caliber offers a choice of four front-wheel drive trim levels: SE, SXT, R/T and SRT4. The SE and SXT trims are equipped with a 148-hp 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine; a 158-hp 2.0-liter engine is also available. The R/T is driven by a powerful 172-hp 2.4-liter engine. All are available with a 5-speed manual transmission or a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The SRT4 boasts a 285-hp 2.4-liter turbocharged engine, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard safety features include multi-stage front airbags, an inflatable driver knee blocker and side curtain airbags for front and rear occupants; an electronic stability control system is standard on the SRT4 and optional on SXT and R/T trims.
For 2009, the Dodge Caliber carries over with minimal changes. All trims get upgraded standard audio systems with MP3 playback; R/T and SRT4 trims are further equipped with a 6-disc CD player and DVD-audio capability, and the MyGIG multimedia system with navigation is now available as an option. Additionally, the R/T trim is no longer offered in an all-wheel drive configuration.
2009 Dodge Avenger
The 2009 Dodge Avenger borrows its styling heavily from its larger sibling, the Charger. It commands a bold road presence with its large headlamps, crosshair grille, pronounced wheel arches and broad shoulder lines. To appeal to various tastes and budgets, the Avenger comes in several different trim lines with several different engines.
The base motor is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 173 horsepower and 166 pound-feet of torque, good for 21 miles per gallon in the city and 30 on the highway. It is connected to a four-speed automatic transmission.
Also available is a flex-fuel gas-ethanol 2.7-liter V6 with 189 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy is 19 mpg in the city, 27 on the highway. This engine is also connected to a four-speed automatic transmission.
A 3.5-liter V6 tops the lineup in the sporty R/T Avenger, boasting 235 horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque. Mileage is estimated at 17 city and 26 highway mpg. The R/T comes with Dodge's six-speed AutoStick automatic transmission, which allows for do-it-yourself shifting.
2009 Dodge Journey
Unlike Nitro and Durango, the 2009 Dodge Journey is a car-type SUV that sits lower to the ground and has a less off-road-capable drivetrain and suspension than those vehicles. Journey seats five in base trim, and up to seven with the Flexible Seating Group that includes a 50/50 split third-row seat. Three models are offered. The base SE has a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine and comes only with front-wheel drive. Uplevel SXT and R/T models have a 3.5-liter V6 and are available with front- or all-wheel drive. Base models have 16-inch wheels. Front drive SXTs have 17-inch wheels and a sport suspension. All-wheel-drive SXTs and all R/Ts have 19-inch wheels and a more-performance-oriented suspension. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags that cover all seating rows, and front side airbags. Storage features include an available flat-folding front passenger seat with an under-cushion storage bin, storage bins in the second-row foot well, and underfloor storage in the cargo area. Also available are second-row seats with built-in child-safety cushions, a beverage-chilling glove box, and a navigation system. Chrysler's uconnect multimedia suite, which has a 20-gigabyte hard drive for storing pictures and digital music files, is optional.
2009 Dodge Grand Caravan
The 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan lineup gains some new available features. This minivan is built from the same design as Chrysler's Town & Country. It is offered in a single-length Grand Caravan model in SE and SXT trim levels. Three V6 engines are offered. SE models have a 175-hp 3.3-liter. SXTs use a 197-hp 3.8. Optional on SXT is a 251-hp 4.0 V6. The 3.3 teams with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The 3.8 and 4.0 engines use a 6-speed automatic. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, and curtain side airbags that cover all seating rows. Newly available are a blind-spot alert system and a feature Chrysler calls "Rear Cross Path." This system activates when the transmission is in reverse, and it detects any traffic moving towards the vehicle. All Grand Caravans seat up to seven. Standard is a 60/40 split 3rd-row bench seat that folds into the floor.
Dude, that Hybrid Got a HEMI?
It’s Chrysler’s other first production hybrid… and it’s got a HEMI… it’s got the same HEMI! This model gets the two-mode 5.7-liter HEMI, LED headlights, MyGIG entertainment system and other stock goodies such as ABS, Electronic Stability Program with Electronic Roll Mitigation and Trailer Sway Control, Tire Pressure Monitoring system, Sentry Key engine immobilizer, ParkView Rear Back-up Camera System, and a bunch of airbags.

2009 Dodge Charger
The 2009 Dodge Charger is a full-size, four-door sedan that makes a bold design statement and backs it up with serious horsepower. A wide range of models is available, but all are comfortable cruisers, offering drivers a friendly haven from traffic and bumpy freeways. The model line ranges from the sporty and entertaining 2.7-liter Charger SE to the 425-hp SRT8. Between them are 3.5-liter V6 and 5.7-liter V8 models. The 3.5-liter V6 delivers entirely adequate performance for the mid-grade SXT model, while the V8s generate thrilling acceleration performance and make all the right noises. All-wheel drive is available for all-weather capability.

2009 Dodge Charger Collectible Performance Models
Looking for a performance vehicle but still need four-door functionality? Looking to take advantage of the surge in MOPAR vehicle collecting with an instant factory classic? Look no further than the Dodge Charger. Here are two vehicles to consider: The 2009 Dodge Charger Daytona “White-out” edition and the 2009 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee in Hemi Orange.
These vehicles are currently in production, but are limited in volume to under 500 units for each! The Charger Daytona “White-out” (400 total build for U.S.) is based off an R/T model with Stone White paint but includes improved performance at 372horsepower (+4hp over standard R/T’s). The Charger SRT8 Super Bee (425 total build) is the same fire-breathing 6.1L SRT HEMI that MOPAR enthusiasts love and is the first SRT8 four door we have built with the high impact Hemi Orange paint.
